Carbomer is a high molecular weight acrylic acid. Its main difference lies in the type of cross-linking agent between polymers and the solvent for synthesizing polymers. When it is neutralized by alkali to form a gel, it can absorb and retain moisture and provide viscosity, stability, and suspension in gels, creams, and emulsions. It is a thickener with extensive fluidity. It has high efficiency and low dosage, stable emulsification, and high transparency.

HK-941 provides excellent emulsion and suspension stability at low viscosities. It offers excellent clarity, long flow characteristics, low relative viscosity. It is used in many personal care products such as clear gels, creams and lotions.
